Test results have been consistent across all our McQuesten claims, averaging 0.4 grams per cubic meter (0.406 grams per yard), lighter at the top beneath the overburden, then quickly increasing as you dig down.

A hard blue clay is found in some areas, creating an artificial bedrock at 23 to 26 feet, the first of 6 layers from 6 different glaciations. In each glaciation, this clay layer collects settled fine gold on top, just like for bedrock.

The soil is a very coarse granular sand which percolates extremely well. This means the ground dries quickly after rain and after the snow melts in the spring, ideal for driving and moving equipment over the claims. Water tables can be found at the 8-to-12-foot mark, depending on the season.

A complete description of ground conditions, the assessment reports, lab reports, and reports from our associates on neighboring claims are included in the Information Package available from Hector Renaud.
